Job summary

EMS Metrology Pte Ltd in Singapore seeks a Calibration Engineer to perform calibration of measuring equipment across Dimensional, Mechanical, Electrical and Temperature domains. You will lead ISO 17025 quality system maintenance and SAC documentation, while training and guiding the team to achieve lab goals.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years related experience, is an internal auditor (preferred signatory), and may advance to senior roles with higher salary for demonstrated leadership and mastery.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years related experience
• Calibrate measuring equipment in Dimensional, Mechanical, Electrical & Temperature fields
• Lead and maintain ISO 17025 quality system and SAC documentation
• Qualified internal auditor and preferably an approved signatory
• Develop training programs and train/lead the team to meet company goals
• Maintain master equipment listing for laboratories
• Liaise with customers on quality issues and audits, seek improvements

Responsibilities

• Perform calibration of measuring equipment in the field of Dimensional, Mechanical, Electrical & Temperature
• Be a leader and MR maintaining ISO 17025 quality system & its relevant documentation as well as meeting SAC requirements
• A qualified internal auditor and preferably an approved signatory
• Able to develop training program and to train, lead and motivate the team and oversee the operation meeting company goals & objectives
• Maintain master equipment listing for the laboratories
• Liaise with customers on quality issue / audit and seeking for improvement from time to time
• Able to work effectively and efficiently and under pressure under taking task assigned by the management from time to time
• Possess Class 3 license will be considered favorably.
