Job description

The position of General Manager at Apparels, located in Karnataka, India, has the primary responsibility of maintaining the Data Warehouse Application to ensure the Quality, Veracity, and Timeliness of data flow within the system. As the General Manager, you will oversee the overall health of the Data Warehouse system and manage Data Integration with both upstream and down-stream systems.Your main duties will involve Data modelling for the Enterprise Data Warehouse, ETL/Data Integration, Data Quality Processes, ensuring the Performance of the System, managing the overall health of the system including Database Administration and Resource usage, implementing Backup procedures, maintaining Data Security and Access control, and overseeing DevOps activities.Key Result Areas (KRAs):KRA1: Data Modelling- Responsible for Database design and modelling- Implement improvements and optimization to the data modelKRA2: ETL/Data Integration- Develop ETL Packages- Utilize DI tools effectively- Implement Automated Recon processes- Manage Alerts and notificationsKRA3: Overall System Health, Performance, and Backup- Ensure the system is stable and available- Incorporate best practices- Establish a robust backup and failover processKRA4: Data Quality and Security- Develop and implement Data Quality practices- Ensure Data reconciliation with Source systems- Control access to the Database and enforce proper approvals for data usageKRA5: DevOps- Provide support for operations- Lead DB upgrades and maintenance activities- Establish Change management processes for Data Integration and Model changes- Provide on-call support during downtimeQualifications:- Post Graduate degree- Minimum Experience Level: 10-15 YearsYou will report to the Assistant Vice President.,
