Job summary

Public Service Division is building the cybersecurity backbone for autonomous vehicles in Singapore. The Principal/Senior/Executive Cybersecurity Engineer will shape the assurance regime, drive regulatory framework development, assess suppliers against risk and safety requirements, and help ensure secure software updates and supply chain security.

The role includes leading security governance and mentoring engineers.

Qualifications

Knowledge preferably in Computer Science, Cybersecurity or a related field.
Ability to reason about threats and risk and to assess impact on safety outcomes.
Familiarity with automotive cybersecurity standards and regulation such as UN R155/R156, ISO/SAE 21434, CSMS and TARA.

Responsibilities

Drive development of regulatory framework for AV cybersecurity, including CSMS for vehicle lifecycle.
Assess AV developers’ cybersecurity submissions against assurance criteria and standards.
Define expectations for secure over-the-air updates and supply chain risk management.
Establish monitoring, detection and incident response requirements for AVs.
Maintain policies, standards and playbooks; engage with partners and international fora.
Develop security into SDLC; conduct security reviews and risk assessments of CAM systems.
Set up automated security testing in CI/CD pipelines; assist with breach detection and incident response.
Grow the function by identifying tools and improvements; mentor engineers.
Lead AV cybersecurity assurance framework end-to-end for senior hires; establish governance.
