We are looking for a talented and creative Workspace Designer to join our team, with a passion for transforming interior spaces into aesthetically pleasing, functional, and well-designed environments.

Your ability to combine artistic flair with technical expertise will be essential in this role. As a Lead Architect - Workplace Designer, you will need to build and lead a team, think outside the box, and collaborate with clients, project managers, and architects to design and deliver workspaces that surpass client expectations. Your creativity, commercial acumen, attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to balance form and function will be crucial.

Responsibilities:
  • Client Engagement: Conduct thorough research to understand the client's business, industry, challenges, and goals. Analyze workspace requirements and develop actionable plans. Maintain strong client relationships through effective communication and exceptional service. Manage expectations and address issues promptly.
  • Conceptual Design: Formulate innovative proposals integrating space planning, color schemes, furniture selections, and sustainable materials. Create mood boards, 3D renderings, and presentations to communicate design concepts effectively.
  • Space Planning and Layout: Develop efficient space plans considering workflow, ergonomics, and cultural ethos. Use space utilization strategies to enhance productivity and foster a cohesive work culture.
  • Material Selection and Specification: Curate materials, finishes, and furnishings that meet aesthetic, functional, safety, and sustainability standards. Ensure durability, functionality, and visual appeal.
  • Budget Management: Prepare budgets and timelines, sourcing materials within constraints. Optimize design solutions to improve project financial performance.
  • Project Documentation: Prepare detailed drawings, specifications, and maintain accurate records throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Team Leadership: Build and nurture a high-performing team, fostering collaboration and professional growth. Ensure team alignment with organizational culture.
  • Quality Control: Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure design implementation meets quality standards.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in architecture, interior design, or related field.
  • 7-12 years of experience in workplace design and team management.
  • Proficiency in SketchUp, Revit, Photoshop.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Project management experience is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
