Julius Baer Singapore seeks a Client Onboarding Team Lead to manage a multi‑person team reviewing AML/KYC risk for a diverse client base. You will ensure compliance with MAS 626, sanctions and tax requirements while driving process excellence and stakeholder collaboration across COO, Front Office, Legal, Compliance and Risk Management.

You will lead 5–8 onboarding officers, oversee onboarding approvals, provide guidance on KYC/CDD matters, and escalate complex cases to Compliance when needed.

Formación

• At least 8 years' experience in KYC Onboarding or AML, preferably in Private Banking.
• Strong understanding of the Private Banking and Wealth Management industry.
• Strong knowledge of MAS 626 Notice & Guidelines.
• Experience in preparing reports and strong Excel skills.
• Prior people management experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Lead a team of 5-8 Client Onboarding Officers.
• Review and approve onboarding of new client relationships while ensuring compliance.
• Advise Front Office on KYC/CDD matters and risk issues.
• Escalate higher risk clients to Compliance when required.
• Coordinate with Head Office and overseas offices for account openings.
• Coach and develop onboarding staff and manage escalations.
