The Singapore Institute of Management is seeking a strategic Alumni Relations Lead to plan and execute programs that boost early engagement of graduating students and sustain ongoing engagement across all alumni segments. You will coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to support career and academic activities, lead branding and communications, and ensure active use of the alumni IT system.

Lead in the planning and execution of alumni initiatives to increase early engagement with graduating students, as well as sustain active engagement of all alumni segments to cultivate and engage alumni/students to build stickiness, increase affinity, improve retention. Seek and engage with internal/external stakeholders in providing support and assistance to alumni seeking career/academic related activities in a proactive, timely and smooth manner. Lead in alumni branding, marketing, and communications across online and offline platforms, covering content, social media, alumni storytelling, and collateral to support new and ongoing initiatives. Lead and drive adoption, engagement, and sustained usage of the alumni IT system across alumni segments, while ensuring the accuracy, upkeep, and effective management of the alumni database. Develop and manage university partnership strategy and ecosystem of partners, integrating alumni as strategic stakeholders to strengthen collaboration and drive impact. Engage, and grow alumni advocates, mentors, and ambassadors to deepen alumni participation and extend institutional reach. Lead the review of alumni initiatives, processes and initiate improvement plans that will enhance alumni customer experience.
Degree holder with 5-7 years of professional experience. Proven experience and track record in client engagement, relationship management, membership development, events management, branding and marketing communications. Experience in one or more of the following: research, marketing, events management, stakeholder management, customer service, talent development, and business development. Experience in an Institute of Higher Learning (IHL) setting would be advantageous. Meticulous, organised, able to work with minimal supervision and tight deadlines. Ability to cultivate strong internal and external client/partner relations with a view to leverage towards desired business outcomes. Savvy with technology, social media, and database tools. Familiar with CRM systems, data analytics, digital marketing solutions. Effectively bilingual, both spoken and written. Proficiency in a third language will be advantageous. Eye for details with keen interest in writing, content development for online/offline platforms and collaterals. Able to multi-task, work independently and in cross-disciplinary project teams.
