The Team

Hitachi Digital is at the forefront of AI-driven innovation, seeking an experienced Lead AI Engineer to lead new AI initiatives and enhance existing Agentic AI capabilities across various operational companies and departments.

The Role

1. Lead the design, development, and deployment of AI models and algorithms using Agentic AI and Agent Workspace for Google Gemini and EMa.AI.
2. Drive new AI initiatives, ensuring seamless integration and functionality across departments.
3. Enhance and optimize existing AI capabilities for improved performance and scalability.
4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to embed AI solutions into systems and workflows.
5. Stay updated with the latest AI advancements and research.
6. Troubleshoot and resolve complex AI system issues.
7. Document development processes, methodologies, and best practices.
8. Mentor junior developers and participate in code reviews.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, AI, Machine Learning, or related field.
• 7+ years in AI model development, focusing on Agentic AI and related technologies.
• Proficiency in Python, Java, or C++.
• Experience with Google Cloud Platform; AWS and Azure are pluses.
• Experience with GPU-based AI development, Generative AI, and LLMs.
• Knowledge of AI frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with data science tools.
• Experience in a tech-driven company in similar roles.
