Job summary

WORLDWIDE HOTELS PTE. LTD. is seeking a reliable Laundry Worker to join our operations in Tuas, Singapore. You will sort soiled linens, feed items into ironing and folding machines, and pack clean laundry for delivery to hotel properties, while maintaining a tidy work area.

Experience in laundry operations is a plus; you should be a team player, able to work with minimal supervision, and willing to work in a hot environment. Prior experience in laundry is preferred; training will be provided.

Qualifications

• Secondary / Nitec / Higher Nitec education.
• Team player with ability to work with minimum supervision.
• Experience in laundry operations is an added advantage.
• Willing to work in hot environment and in Tuas.

Responsibilities

• Checking and sorting all soiled linens/laundry items into the industrial washing machine
• Feeding clean linens/laundry items into the industrial ironing and folding machines
• Packing and sorting clean linens/laundry items for delivery to the different hotel properties
• Maintain cleanliness of working area
• Report any faulty/abnormalities found in any laundry machine(s) to the Laundry Operations Manager
• Any other duties within reasonable scope as required
• Participate in company's sustainability effort for the environment and being an inclusive employer.
