Job summary

KLA in Singapore is offering an internship for students in electronics and physics to work with cutting-edge semiconductor test systems. You will join the LS-SWIFT division and help with laser optical design and test-station setup in a cleanroom, plus data collection.

Responsibilities include developing software for automatic testing and processing, supporting engineering and production, and writing reports.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor's degree from a recognized university.
• Available Jan–May/June 2027 for 5–6 months.
• Track record of outstanding academic performance.
• Willingness to learn and interest in technology.
• Strong knowledge of optics, photonics, physics or data interpretation; programming helps (LabVIEW, MATLAB, Python, ML).
• Strong hands-on experience, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; flexible to tasks.

Responsibilities

• Support novel laser optical design and setup of state-of-the-art test stations in cleanroom.
• Develop SW for automatic testing and processing.
• Data collection and analysis.
• Support engineering and production, and write reports.
