The opportunity:

Hitachi Energy's Grid Integration business unit has delivered more than 4,000 projects over the last 15 years. Our portfolio spans a wide range of transmission and substation applications, facilitating reliable and efficient system integration of the future digital electric network with minimal environmental impact. We incorporate integrated systems, solutions, and services in DC and AC fields, including HVDC, Substations, FACTS, Grid and Power Quality solutions such as offshore wind connections, and Semiconductors. We also offer Power Consulting for key segments like renewables, transmission, distribution, and e-transportation solutions.

How you’ll make an impact:

You will focus on sales and marketing activities, including face-to-face and remote sales to new and existing customers.

You will assess customer needs and recommend suitable products, services, or solutions, while planning, developing, and executing marketing strategies for products and brands.

You will evaluate, measure, and manage the product/brand P&L, including budgeting, expenditures, profitability, and ROI. You may also provide customer support related to product information, billing, shipping, delivery, and issue resolution. Compensation is based on achieving sales targets.

You will develop and implement strategies with short- to mid-term impacts on business results, aligning with organizational objectives. You will lead multiple teams of directors, senior managers, and managers.

You will create short- to mid-term plans to optimize the organization, functions, or sub-functions, and develop talent to execute these strategies.

Your background:

An educational background in engineering, preferably electrical, is preferred.

Experience in tendering large-scale projects in a similar industry.

Willingness to learn and coach team members.

Strong verbal and written communication skills, with confidence and clarity.
