Responsibilities
The Industry Solutions SAT Large Deal Seller is responsible for:
- Opportunity Ownership – Partner with local leaders, sellers including the ATU, STU, CSU, SPT, and SMEs within Industry Solutions. Lead sales planning, orchestration, and deal closure leveraging MCEM.
- Customer and Partner Obsession – Demonstrate commitment through customer business outcomes, leveraging solution area expertise.
- Providing Impactful POV – Offer perspectives where Industry Solutions can accelerate consumption, aligned with solution area expertise, into account planning cycles and large MACC deals.
- Accelerating Cloud Growth – Collaborate with the wider account team to build relationships across Microsoft teams, driving consumption through Industry Solutions projects and programs, with a focus on AI.
- Continuous Learning – Build sales expertise, deepen Industry and solution knowledge, and invest in personal development to better support customers and the Microsoft team.
- Deal Excellence – Follow Microsoft processes and methodologies for strategy selling, pipeline hygiene, opportunity logging, qualification, ORB submissions, and close plan ownership.
Qualifications
Required/Minimum Qualifications (RQs/MQs):
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field AND 6+ years of technology-related sales or account management experience.
- OR 7+ years of technology-related sales or account management experience.
- 6+ years of experience with a global system integrator or business applications deployment partner.
- 6+ years of solution or services sales experience, preferably in infrastructure or data.

- Cloud & AI Transformation Driver: Engage decision makers, demonstrate thought leadership, and drive customer understanding of Industry Solutions value.
- Complex Deal Leader: Create business impact, demonstrate deal leadership, and communicate clearly about financial benefits.
- Deal Orchestrator: Manage deals from lead to order, collaborating across teams for a unified customer experience.
- Transformation Deal Driver: Identify new strategic opportunities, inspire collaboration, and meet or exceed revenue targets.
