Job summary

  • Arrange timely calibration and servicing of surveying instruments.
  • Coordinate with Licensed Land Surveyors for proper surveys.
  • Support the Environmental Health & Safety programme on site.
  • Commit to continuous improvement and propose new methods.

Job description

Responsibilities

  • Attend daily subcontractors’ meetings and perform required survey setting-out of lines/points for structural and architectural works.
  • Communicate closely with project staff and subcontractors to understand requirements, plan effectively, and meet task timelines.
  • Ensure accuracy in all survey setting-out works, with proper handover to minimise site work errors.
  • Maintain disciplined procedures for setting out works according to floor framing plans, including checking formwork levels before and after casting, and verifying as-built slab levels and verticality/alignment of walls and columns.
  • Demonstrate confidence in survey work through repeated checks and by closing out all survey activities daily to eliminate errors.
  • Arrange timely calibration and servicing of surveying instruments, keeping proper records for audits and standard operating procedures.
  • Coordinate with Licensed Land Surveyors to ensure AMSL and as-built surveys are properly carried out, endorsed, and submitted to authorities.
  • Support the Environmental Health & Safety programme set by the PM and WSHO to maintain a safe and clean site.
  • Commit to continuous improvement by attending relevant surveying courses and proposing new equipment or methods for site use.
  • Undertake additional project team tasks where needed to support cost-saving initiatives.

Requirements
