Job summary

Gwia Pte. Ltd. in Singapore is seeking a Laboratory Technician to support product research and lab operations.

You will prepare samples, run routine tests, maintain equipment and inventory, and record data to support consumer study activities when needed. You should hold a NITEC or Diploma in Chemistry or related field, have basic lab safety knowledge, and be able to work both independently and as part of a team in an on-site laboratory.

Qualifications

• Diploma or equivalent in Chemistry, chemical process technology, or related field.
• Laboratory experience in R&D or analytical testing is advantageous.
• Able to follow written procedures and record data accurately.
• Basic lab safety knowledge and good housekeeping.
• Able to work independently and in a team in an on-site lab.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, label, organise and submit samples for testing.
• Support sample storage, tracking and stability testing.
• Assist with batch making, including pre-weighing and setup.
• Carry out routine tests (pH, viscosity, moisture, conductivity).
• Operate instruments such as HPLC or GC when trained.
• Record data accurately in approved systems and maintain inventory.
• Support lab safety and housekeeping.
