Job summary

EA RECRUITMENT PTE LTD is looking for a laboratory technician to work at Jurong Island. You will perform laboratory testing and analyze in-process samples using approved instruments, ensuring accuracy and timely reporting.

Requirements include a minimum of 3 years' field and basic lab experience, GCE N/O level or Nitec or Diploma in Chemical Process/Mechanical Engineering, and a 12-hour rotating shift. Company transport is provided.

Qualifications

• Experience performing laboratory testing and analyzing samples.
• Familiar with safety, health and environmental procedures.
• Ability to work with approved instruments and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform laboratory testing and analyze in-process samples using approved instruments and equipment.
• Prepare chemical reagents for testing.
• Communicate test results promptly to the Production Supervisor and QC team.
• Conduct incoming inspection of raw materials and advise on material acceptance.
• Perform equipment validation and calibration checks daily.
• Operate, calibrate and maintain laboratory instruments and equipment.
• Carry out basic troubleshooting and maintenance of equipment.
• Report maintenance needs to Supervisors and QC team.
• Assist with commissioning and decommissioning of laboratory equipment.
• Ensure energy sources are safely isolated during maintenance.
