A leading laboratory services provider in Singapore is seeking a Laboratory Technician to perform analytical tests on catalyst products and conduct wastewater analysis. Ideal candidates have 3-5 years of lab experience, are familiar with ISO9001 standards, and possess strong analytical and communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is essential. This role emphasizes safety and compliance in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of O Levels or equivalent and at least 3-5 years of laboratory experience.
• Knowledge of laboratory best practices.
• Ability to perform standard mathematical calculations, familiar with measurement units.

Job description

• Perform analytical tests on catalyst products to ensure they meet specifications
• Conduct routine wastewater analysis for environmental monitoring.
• Handle, label, and store samples and chemicals safely.
• Calibrate and maintain lab equipment to ensure accuracy and uptime.
• Validate and follow testing procedures per ISO9001 standards.
• Record and report test results accurately.
• Ensure lab safety, housekeeping, and ESH compliance.
• Maintain lab supplies and support supervisor with other duties.
  

Requirements:

• Minimum of O Levels or equivalent and at least 3-5 years of laboratory experience
• Knowledge of laboratory best practices
• Computer skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, EXCEL, Outlook, etc.)
• Analytical and numerical skills: ability to perform standard mathematical calculations, familiar with different measurement units, ability to use concepts such as fractions, percentages, and ratios
• Time management skills: able to prioritize and organize work for efficiency and higher throughput
• Good written and oral communication skills
