Role summary The Technician I is responsible for executing preparatory tasks and fundamental manufacturing activities to support the production of raw materials or finished products. This role also contributes to general laboratory upkeep and ensures smooth daily operations within the assigned value stream. This position reports to the Value Stream Supervisor and is part of the Manufacturing & Operations team located in Singapore and will be an on-site role.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

• Accurately use aids and work instructions to make decisions about the proper production flow based on product type or services.
• Prepare materials according to documented procedures using standard lab equipment and maintain accurate and detailed product, process, instrument, and training records.
• Perform lab cleaning and decontamination protocols in accordance with work instructions and maintenance connection software, and maintain electronic records of tasks to ensure that work is performed in an accurate, efficient, and appropriate manner. Ensure all work instructions pertaining to processes and safety guidelines are followed and comply with rules and guidance applicable to your value stream, ISO 9001 and/or ISO 13485.

Essential requirements

• Minimum N/O level, Nitec in a Science related field or equivalent by relevant experience.
• Proficient computer skills which include knowledge of the internet, Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.

Preferred qualifications

• Basic knowledge in manufacturing practices.
• Previous laboratory and chemical handling experience
