Job summary

Medpace, Inc. is seeking a full-time Laboratory Assistant to join our growing team in Singapore. You will work with colleagues to complete tasks essential to our clinical research operations and gain opportunities to expand your expertise within a global CRO.

The role involves specimen inspection, data entry, shipment preparation, and vendor coordination, with a typical 8:30am–5:30pm schedule over five days (Saturdays rotated) including public holidays as needed.

Qualifications

• Diploma in any field.
• At least 2 years of industry experience in a similar position.
• Team worker and detail-oriented with good time management skills.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
• 8:30am to 5:30pm over 5 days, Sat on a rotational basis; public holidays may be worked.

Responsibilities

• Inspect specimens according to study protocol/laboratory manual.
• Accession specimens into inventory system and perform data entry.
• Prepare and coordinate all biological laboratory sample shipments for storage and shipments.
• Order and follow up with vendors on reagents and preventive maintenance contracts.
• Provide daily routine support to Laboratory Technicians and Lab Director.
