Qualifications
- At least 1 year of experience in laboratory analytical work, particularly water testing.

Job Responsibilities
- Perform chemical testing and recordings as per APHA, EPA or ASTM standards.
- Perform laboratory analysis to monitor water quality from all stages of the treatment process.
- Perform laboratory analysis of quality of chemicals purchased for use in the plant.
- Prepare and replenish all chemicals used & standard solutions for analysis.
- Upkeep of daily analysis results and ensure that the results are accurate and submitted on-time.
- Investigate and report all atypical, anomalous and out- of-specification results to superior.
- Conduct proper and periodic maintenance of laboratory equipment and ensure all equipment are calibrated according to manufacturer’s requirement; maintain proper housekeeping complying with EHS requirement.
- Liaise with and manage sampling and analysis undertaken by third party laboratories.
- Accept ad hoc assignment given by managers.
- Accept multi-tasking and able to cover other operation duties as and when necessary.
Job Requirements
- ITE or Diploma in Chemistry or related discipline
- At least 1 years of experience in related laboratory analytical works especially in water testing will be an added advantage
- Willing to work on shift
- Willing to work at multiple sites
- Willing to work beyond normal working hours due to operational needs of the plant
- This is a 2 year contract role.
