ABOUT THE COMPANY

CLINUVEL a global specialty pharmaceutical group focused on developing and commercialising treatments for patients with genetic, metabolic, systemic, and life-threatening, acute disorders, as well as healthcare solutions for the general population. We are seeking new talent to join our Research, Development & Innovation Centre in Singapore, VALLAURIX, to lead the development of the next generation of CLINUVEL’s product pipeline.


PRIMARY OBJECTIVE

The Laboratory Technician is responsible for performing routine laboratory tasks.


DESCRIPTION OF THE ROLE

  • Support formulation and analytical scientists in experiments according to prescribed procedures.
  • Record formulation and analytical steps and results in appropriate logbook in accordance with ISO 9001 and Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) standards
  • Perform routine calibration of analytical equipment with appropriate documentation in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
  • Monitor, update and procure laboratory supplies
  • Maintain good housekeeping and cleanliness in the laboratories
  • Enforcement of safety rules in compliance with safety regulations, operation and maintenance of equipment
  • Perform other ad hoc duties related to company projects as assigned

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS FOR ROLE

  • A minimum of 2 years professional experience as a Laboratory Technician
  • Diploma in Chemistry/Chemical Engineering/Pharmaceutical Sciences/Biochemistry/Life Science
  • Proven experience in analytical equipment including High Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC) systems and UV-visible spectrophotometers.
  • Able to compile and analyse data generated from HPLC
