Laboratory Technician

Job Scope

• Maintain a safe and clean working environment by adhering to safety procedures and regulations
• Conduct sample analysis and field testing according to established procedures
• Perform routine equipment calibration and preventive maintenance including basic equipment troubleshooting
• Maintain accurate lab records and support general lab operations
• Monitor lab inventory and perform other administrative duties as needed

Requirements

• GCE 'O' Level with credits in Sciences, OR
• NITEC / Higher NITEC in Chemical Process Technology, OR
• Diploma in Chemical Process Technology / Chemical Engineering
• Preferably 1 - 2 years of laboratory experience
• Entry level candidates will also be considered
• Analytical mind, vigilant, safety conscious
• Good verbal and written communication skills
