Employment Details

Employment type: Contract- 2-3 months

Location: One North/Buona Vista

Working Hours: 8:30AM to 6:00PM (Mon-Fri)

Salary: 2000 - 2500 per month

Working Arrangement: Hybrid

Description:

The Department provides key support in conducting cutting-edge biomedical research and development with specific focus on rodent histology. As part of the dynamic team, you will be responsible for providing services in this laboratory to support the needs of researchers

Responsibilities:

· Operate specialised laboratory equipment to provide histopathology service to the research community.

· Perform basic histopathology processing techniques such as paraffin/cryo embedding, cryotomy, microtomy, staining, etc.

· Assist with the general logistics (equipment maintenance, inventory, housekeeping) and any ad-hoc duties as assigned

Requirements

· Diploma in Life Sciences, Biological Sciences or a related field.

· Good basic laboratory skills and manual dexterity.

· Familiarity with histopathology techniques and GLP would be an advantage.

· Meticulous and organised with an ability to multi-task.

· Good communication, interpersonal and analytical skills.

· Able to work independently and as a team in a fast-paced environment.
