Responsibilities (Primarily) :
- Drive product failure investigation, perform product failure analysis from field returns and reliability failures, recommend enhancement to countermeasure root cause failure.
- Operate various types of FA equipment such as (X-ray), SEM&EDX, DPA, microscope to support and perform analysis.
- Responsible to create, execute and release Failure Analysis report.
Responsibilities (Secondarily) :
- Upkeep the calibration system for test equipment and correlation system for correlation standards.
- Work with procurement to establish vendors for calibration and repair of test equipment.
- Improve laboratory methodology to ensure the efficiency and effectiveness of the testing/processes.
- Maintain laboratory records in compliance with IATF16949 and ISO/IEC17025 standards.
- Participate in customer and internal audits to ensure the laboratory meets the IATF16949 and ISO/IEC17025 standards.
- Liaison with interplant on test equipment, software, correlation issues, etc.
- Supervise a team of QA Lab personnel to fulfill the assigned tasks.
Requirements :
- Diploma/Bachelor's Degree in Electrical/Electronic or any related field.
- 2 to 5 years of relevant working experience in the same capacity.
- Comprehension of analytical report such as SEM/EDX, DPA,Microscope, etc.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Hands-on & self-driven personality requiring minimum supervision.
- Knowledge of requirements IATF16949, ISO17025 will be an added advantage.
