Job description

• Compound flavour samples according to given recipes
• Take part in the flavour creation process and flavour evaluation (tastings)
• Assist Flavourist on SAP work
• Process customer sample requests and manage flavour sample production
• Pack and dispatch flavour samples and taste samples
• Prepare flavour samples for application, product management and FTF departments, for tastings and for QC checks
• Maintain the laboratory cleanliness
• Rinse glassware and put it into the dishwashers, empty dishwashers and put glassware back on location
• Proxy other lab assistants (sweet, savoury, sample production) and the lab cleaners
• Monitor stocks of raw materials and bottles and inform MRP Controller or Purchaser for ordering
• Order lab supplies from local suppliers
• Call waste management company for waste disposal
• Assign locations for new raw materials and flavours
• Monitor and change eyewash water (de-ionized water) - monthly
• Do other job related duties as assigned by Flavourist, Head of Flavour Creation or Technical Director
• In addition to the tasks described above the position holder is required to take over duties that belong to his general field of work and which are considered necessary for the benefit of Silesia
• Diploma holder, 2 years work experience in food/chemical/pharma establishments in a similar role.
