Job Description

You will be required to sort specimens sent to the laboratories, key the test orders into the computer system and answer phone enquiries regarding lab tests. Other job duties include drawing blood from mostly paediatric patients (finger prick technique, training will be provided). If you are interested in working in a healthcare environment and have the following requirements, this is the job for you.

Requirements:

1. GCE "N"/ "O" Level, NITEC in Biomedical Science / Nursing
2. Phlebotomy skill is advantageous
3. Minimum typing speed of 35 wpm
4. Will be required to work rotating shift duties (based on roster)
5. Prior job experience in a similar setting and familiarity with terminology used in the Laboratory would be an advantage
