Overview

We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Calibration Officer to join our laboratory team. In this role, you will be responsible for executing daily calibration and testing work, ensuring compliance with ISO/IEC 17025 and international standards. You will play a key part in maintaining the quality, accuracy, and traceability of measurement data, as well as supporting internal teams and customers with technical expertise.

Responsibilities
  • Execute daily calibration and testing tasks in compliance with established procedures and standards.
  • Identify, report, and take corrective actions for defective or non-conforming equipment and instruments.
  • Ensure accurate sampling, repeat cycles of measurements, and proper completion of calibration procedures in line with international/national standards.
  • Prepare calibration data clearly and accurately in job order forms, ensuring compliance with ISO/IEC 17025 requirements.
  • Perform and verify budget uncertainty calculations in accordance with GUM (Guide to the Expression of Uncertainty in Measurement).
  • Analyze calibration data and expanded uncertainties, ensuring compliance with the laboratory’s calibration and measurement capability (CMC).
  • Provide technical support to customers and sales teams.
  • Maintain laboratory cleanliness and compliance with 5S / 7S practices, ensuring proper handling, storage, and maintenance of reference instruments.
  • Conduct safety checks and ensure all tasks are performed in accordance with WSH and safety regulations.
Qualifications
  • No prior experience or specific education background required – training will be provided.
  • Good working attitude and a strong team player.
  • Willing to work overtime (with overtime pay).
  • Basic Microsoft Excel skills required.
  • Responsible, detail-oriented, and eager to learn.
