Job summary

Thermo Fisher Scientific invites you to join their PPD Laboratory Services team in Singapore as a Lab Assistant, helping manage inventory, orders, and store lab supplies while supporting lab systems.

You will assist with receiving, storing and discarding specimens, preparing reagents, and data entry into Mosaic, collaborating with multiple teams.

Diploma or Higher Nitec in Science; Tuesday-Saturday 9am-6pm; training will be provided; commitment to lab policies and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Science or equivalent. No experience required.
• Higher Nitec in Science with > 1 year experience working in Lab.
• Able to commit to work schedule of Tuesday-Saturday, 9am to 6pm.
• Able to commit to rotating Public Holiday duties.

Responsibilities

• Inventories management (including inventory counts), orders and store labsupplies, maintaining accurate inventory levels for all products located in lab.
• Ensures proper documentation is completed upon processing all inventorytransactions, enters data into Mosaic.
• Maintains close communication with vendors when necessary.
• Work with various teams to assist in the maintenance of laboratory systems andresources and assist aliquoting of specimens.
• Assists with receiving, storing and discarding specimens.
• Composes, copies, and distributes correspondence, reports, documents, forms,and tables as requested.
• Collects, compiles, and prepares reports and other documents; establishes,organizes, and maintains files.
• Trains new staff in the Inventory systems and oversees request access to all newstaff as needed.

As a Lab Assistant, you will assist with inventory management, orders and store lab supplies.
