Job summary

KANTO KAGAKU SINGAPORE PTE LTD is seeking a junior laboratory assistant to perform tests in line with approved procedures and protocols. The role involves data collection and reporting to support method validation and GR&R activities.

No prior experience is required, but familiarity with lab equipment is a plus. Candidates should be willing to learn and contribute to ongoing improvements, with emphasis on calibration, maintenance, and proper housekeeping.

Qualifications

• Minimum diploma in chemistry or related field.
• No experience required; some lab equipment handling experience is an advantage.
• Willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Carry out all tests in accordance with procedures and laboratory protocols
• Collect data and summarize reports for method validation, GR&R, etc
• Procure laboratory equipment, kits and consumables
• Maintain calibration and preventive maintenance of lab equipment
• Ensure proper housekeeping and 5S
• Carry out continuous improvement in the lab
• Perform other ad-hoc tasks as assigned by supervisor/manager
