Job summary

Recruit Express Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking a laboratory assistant to perform routine microbiology testing in a manufacturing environment, onsite at Changi.

You will handle data entry for routine testing and ensure compliance with SOPs, recording traceable information on device history records.

The role requires a NITEC or Diploma in science and at least 1 year of lab experience; the contract runs for 18 months with potential for extension.

Qualifications

• Minimum NITEC or Diploma in a related science field.
• Application of microbiology testing procedures in a manufacturing setting.
• Experience with record-keeping and SOP adherence.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine microbiology testing using established procedures (sterility, bioburden, aseptic filtration, environmental collection and testing, in-process solutions, etc).
• Enter data for routine testing accurately in the LIMS or records.
• Follow work instructions and SOPs, recording traceable information on device history records.
• Assist in testing validation activities under supervision.

Working days and hours:

• Mon - Fri
• 8am - 5pm (Onsite)

Job Description:

• Perform routine microbiology testing services using established procedures/protocols (e.g. sterility, bioburden, aseptic filtration, environmental collection and testing, in process solutions, etc)
• Perform data entry of routine testing
• Review, follow and perform job functions in compliance with established work instructions and adherence with SOPs, including recording traceable information on device history records
• Assist in testing validation/revalidation activities for critical systems and equipment under close supervision

Job Requirements:

• Min NITEC/Diploma in any related Science field
• Min 1 year of experience in a manufacturing lab would be advantageous
