Job description

  • Basic Salary: $3,000 - $4,500 + Bonus

  • Working hours : 5 Days work weeks (Monday to Friday)

  • Working hours: 8:30am to 6pm

  • After 6 Months Will Permanently Work at Woodlands Industrial Park

  • First 6 Months Will Require to Set Up LIMS at Jurong East Lab [ New Acquired ]

Company provides lab services in both chemical and microbiological parameters required for Bunker Oil and Environmental (soil, water and industrial waste) testing.

Job Requirement:

  1. Bachelor's degree in chemical engineering, environmental science and engineering, chemistry, or other related degree concentration, or equivalent experience

  2. Minimum 1-3 years of experience in a laboratory environment

  3. MUST Experience coordinating or working at a high level within a Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) ; rule creation, test code analysis, workflow management

  4. Technical knowledge IT: MS Office products, Data analysis, SQL competences are a plus.

Job Description:

  • Serve as the LIMS Super User, overseeing system administration and ensuring smooth, day-to-day operations of the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS).

  • Provide comprehensive end-user support, including troubleshooting LIMS errors, delivering timely solutions, and ensuring user satisfaction across multiple departments.

  • Assist in managing LIMS-related projects within the South-East Asia region, including coordination with IT teams and business leaders to deliver projects on time and within scope.

  • Liaise with IT solution developers to ensure LIMS customizations align with business requirements and are properly validated prior to deployment.

  • Create, revise, and maintain LIMS operational procedures and provide training to relevant departments on procedural updates.

  • Assist the infrastructure team in maintaining the integrity and performance of IT systems supporting LIMS.

  • Provide full support for LIMS issue resolution, including Help Desk assistance and escalation management.

  • Document all LIMS-related support activities to ensure traceability and continuous improvement.

  • Be available for after-hours on-call support as needed.

  • Participate in Permanent Improvement Program (PIP) projects to support process excellence and operational efficiency across laboratories.

  • Define and align standard processes and practices, ensuring consistency and standardisation across laboratories in line with Eurofins’ global standards.

  • Support the development of standard laboratories and specific application processes, contributing to cross[1]functional improvement initiatives.

  • Develop and implement methodologies for performance and cost management, promoting continuous improvement using LEAN and Six Sigma principles.

  • Drive cultural adoption of LEAN principles by facilitating training sessions, workshops, and coaching within operational teams to instil a continuous improvement mindset.

  • Perform additional duties as assigned
