Job summary

NTU's National Centre for Advanced Integrated Photonics (NCAIP) seeks a Lab Technician to support daily operation, maintenance, and safe use of CDPT cleanroom facilities in Singapore. You will help service nanofabrication equipment, manage consumables, and coordinate bookings while training users on SOPs.

The role requires hands-on cleanroom experience and a Diploma or Bachelor's degree in engineering or related fields.

Qualifications

• Diploma with 3+ years of experience or a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Physics, Materials Science, Nanotechnology, or a related field.
• Hands-on experience in cleanroom or nanofabrication environments.
• Familiarity with tools such as FIB, EBL, RIE, lithography, or thin film deposition systems.
• Strong safety awareness and good documentation and record-keeping practices.
• Responsible, methodical, and able to support multiple users in a shared facility.

The Lab Technician at NTU's National Centre for Advanced Integrated Photonics (NCAIP) will support the daily operation, maintenance, and safe use of CDPT cleanroom facilities. The role involves maintaining and troubleshooting fabrication equipment (e.g., FIB, EBL, RIE, ALD, deposition systems), managing consumables and inventory, and ensuring high equipment uptime and safety compliance. The successful candidate will administer booking systems, coordinate facility usage, support fabrication processes, train users on equipment operation and work on cleanroom operational and safety protocols in collaboration with superusers.
