Key Responsibilities:
Simulation Session Setup and Breakdown: Prepare simulation rooms with necessary equipment, including high-fidelity manikins, medical supplies, and audio-visual technology. Clean and organize equipment after each session.
Manikin Maintenance and Operation: Perform regular maintenance checks on high-fidelity manikins, troubleshoot any technical issues, and operate manikins during simulation scenarios to ensure accurate physiological responses.
Inventory Management: Keep accurate records of teaching supplies, equipment, and manikin parts. Replenish stock proactively to ensure uninterrupted simulation sessions.
Technical Assistance and Support: Provide technical support during simulation sessions, troubleshooting equipment malfunctions, and assisting with the operation of simulation software.
Simulation Scenario Testing: Ensure smooth transitions of scenes in each simulation scenario, verifying that the scenarios run according to the required protocols.
Administrative Support: Assist with other teaching-related administrative duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Knowledge/Experience:
Technical Aptitude: Ability to operate and troubleshoot technical equipment, including computers, audio-visual systems, and simulation manikins.
Organizational Skills: Strong ability to manage schedules, inventory, and setup/breakdown of equipment.
Communication Skills: Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with faculty, students, and staff.
Problem-Solving Skills: Quick to identify and resolve technical or logistical issues as they arise.
Basic Medical Terminology: Familiarity with common medical terms and procedures.
Safety Protocols: Understanding and adherence to safety protocols when handling medical supplies and simulation equipment.
Minimum Experience and Qualifications:
At least 1 year of experience in a related field.
Minimum Qualifications: Diploma
Basic knowledge of medical terminology or healthcare processes.
Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks and deadlines.
Experience with simulation technology or manikin operation will be an added advantage.
Prior experience in technical troubleshooting of equipment, such as audio-visual systems, manikins, or computers, is a plus.
