Job summary

Arthrex Singapore, Pte. Ltd. is seeking an experienced Operations leader to manage ArthroLab operations across Singapore. You will oversee events, forecasting, storage, inventory management, and Lab Technician supervision to ensure seamless regional support for Medical Education equipment.

You will lead workforce planning, SOP implementation, and cross-functional collaboration with global teams, while maintaining GMP-like standards and strong regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Minimum of 5 years of logistics and/or SAP experience preferred.
• Experience working with cadaveric specimens.
• Proven track record of successful logistics and inventory management.
• Preferred people management experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee ArthroLab operations in Singapore, including events, forecasting, storage, and inventory management.
• Lead Lab Technicians and ensure workforce planning, performance management, and continuous improvement.
• Maintain high standards of laboratory operations and regulatory compliance.
• Coordinate CADAVERIC specimen forecasting, procurement, storage, utilization and disposal.
• Collaborate with global stakeholders to align SOPs and inventory processes.
• Manage supplier relationships, procurement, and asset tracking using SAP and other systems.
• Support regional Medical Education activities and surgeon training programs in APAC.

Main Objective:

Manage and coordinate ArthroLab Operations for the Singapore ArthroLab including events, forecasting, storage, inventory management, management of Lab Technician, etc. and provide regional support and logistics for Medical Education equipment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Maintain a comprehensive understanding of Arthrex product lines and Medical Education laboratory requirements to effectively support training activities and product demonstrations.
• Lead, develop, and manage ArthroLab personnel, including Lab Technicians, ensuring effective workforce planning, performance management, employee development, and a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Oversee the day-to-day operation of the Singapore ArthroLab, ensuring the facility is maintained to the highest standards and consistently represents Arthrex as a leader in surgical education and innovation.
• Direct all inventory management activities, including forecasting, procurement, storage, tracking, maintenance, and replacement of laboratory instruments, capital equipment, implants, disposables, exhibit assets, and related educational materials.
• Develop and maintain inventory forecasts to ensure adequate product, equipment, and cadaveric specimen availability to support Medical Education activities, workshops, surgeon training programs, and regional business needs.
• Establish, implement, maintain, and continuously improve ArthroLab Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and operational processes in alignment with global standards and best practices.
• Collaborate with ArthroLab Naples and global stakeholders to implement, maintain, and update operational procedures, laboratory standards, and inventory management processes.
• Ensure all laboratory equipment, instruments, and exhibit assets are maintained in proper working order, including testing, servicing, repair coordination, replacement, and disposition of obsolete or damaged equipment.
• Manage cadaveric specimen forecasting, procurement coordination, storage, utilization, and disposal processes while ensuring compliance with applicable regulations, institutional requirements, and company policies.
• Ensure full compliance with contamination control protocols, biosafety requirements, local regulations governing human tissue management, and radiation equipment controls.
• Serve as the primary liaison with Product Management teams regarding new product introductions, instrument launches, and inventory planning to ensure educational program readiness.
• Coordinate and support logistics for surgeon education programs, cadaveric courses, workshops, conferences, and third-party events, including transportation, shipping, import/export documentation, on-site setup, and equipment management.
• Manage the regional loaner and shared equipment process, ensuring efficient allocation, tracking, maintenance, and distribution of laboratory and exhibit assets throughout APAC.
• Utilize SAP and other business systems to manage purchase requisitions, purchase orders, inventory transactions, asset tracking, forecasting, and reporting activities.
• Develop and maintain operational documentation, equipment checklists, inventory records, reference materials, and performance metrics to support efficient laboratory operations.
• Ensure adherence to all company approval processes, quality requirements, financial controls, and compliance standards while identifying opportunities for process optimization and operational excellence.
• Partner with Regulatory Affairs, Global Trade, Finance, and other cross-functional stakeholders to ensure compliance with all applicable import/export, procurement, and regulatory requirements.
• Provide operational leadership and hands-on support for Medical Education activities throughout APAC, including travel to support key educational programs and strategic initiatives when required.
• Monitor operational performance, analyze resource utilization, and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, service levels, inventory accuracy, and overall laboratory effectiveness.

Education & Experience:

• Bachelors degree required
• Minimum of 5 years of logistic and/or SAP experience preferred
• Experience working with cadaveric specimens
• Proven track record of successful logistics and inventory management
• Preferred people management experience

Travel Requirements:

• Up to 10% travel.
