Job summary

Prestige Biopharma Limited is seeking a detail-oriented lab assistant to support routine lab maintenance and daily operations in Singapore. You will handle pipetting of samples, maintain consumables, and assist with sample labeling and reagent preparation.

The role includes data preparation and collaboration on assay development for ELISA or automated LBAs, with opportunities to contribute to both ligand-binding and cell-based assays.

Responsibilities

• Assist in general lab maintenance and upkeep.
• Perform pipetting of samples and handling of small equipment, including internal calibration/verification.
• Fill and top up pipette tips and general lab consumables.
• Dispose of used assay plates and biological waste (autoclaving) according to safety protocols.
• Clean vacuum aspirators and maintain lab cleanliness.
• Maintain CO2 incubator and other essential equipment.
• Attend weekend duties as required for facility checks.
• Maintain inventories of general consumables, deep freezer inventories, serum samples, and drugs as applicable.
• Assist in assay development for ligand binding assays (ELISA or automated LBA) and cell-based assays.
• Label tubes accurately and maintain proper sample labeling.
• Prepare buffers and reagents for experiments.
• Aliquot reagents and samples as needed.
• Assist in data analysis, compilation, and study data preparation, documentation, printing and filing.
