Job summary

Recruit Express Pte Ltd is seeking an entry-level Lab Technician in Singapore to perform calibration and maintenance on laboratory equipment. You will conduct checks on balances, pipettes, spectrophotometers and chromatography systems, and assist with repairs or part replacements.

You will maintain calibration records, follow SOPs and ISO requirements, and liaise with service providers while supporting spare parts inventory and procurement.

Qualifications

• ITE or Diploma in Science-related or relevant technical fields.
• Relevant technical experience is welcomed.
• Strong interest in technical, laboratory or engineering work.
• Detail-oriented with good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Able to follow technical procedures and documentation accurately.

Responsibilities

• Perform calibration and performance checks on laboratory equipment such as balances, pipettes, spectrophotometers and chromatography systems
• Carry out preventive maintenance and basic troubleshooting
• Diagnose equipment issues and assist with repairs or replacement of parts
• Maintain accurate calibration records, reports and certificates
• Follow SOPs and ISO requirements
• Monitor spare parts and assist with inventory and purchase orders
• Liaise with external service providers when required
