Job summary

Recruit Express Pte Ltd seeks a Calibration Technician to gain hands-on experience calibrating laboratory equipment in our lab environment. You will perform calibrations, maintenance and troubleshooting on devices such as balances, pipettes, spectrophotometers and chromatography systems, recording results and ensuring compliance with SOPs.

Ideal candidates hold an ITE or Diploma in science or a related technical field and are detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

ITE or Diploma in science-related or relevant technical field completed.
Candidates with relevant technical experience are welcome to apply.
Detail-oriented with good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

Perform calibration and checks on balances, pipettes, spectrophotometers and chromatography systems.
Carry out preventive maintenance and basic troubleshooting.
Diagnose equipment issues and assist with repairs or replacement of parts.
Maintain accurate calibration records, reports and certificates.
Follow SOPs and ISO requirements.
Monitor spare parts and assist with inventory and purchase orders.
Liaise with external service providers when required.
