The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining laboratory supplies and performing tests, contributing to the accuracy and reliability of results provided to clinicians.

Responsibilities

1. Ensure specimen identification, processing and storage of test specimens are in consistent with good laboratory practices

2. Ensure all test results provided for clinicians are accurate and reliable

3. Maintain stock of laboratory supplies

4. Perform housekeeping in laboratory

5. Perform routine testing on laboratory instruments

6. Process laboratory specimens for test and storage

7. Transport specimens to and from laboratory for processing

8. Perform other functions as delegated by supervisor and/or lead laboratory
