5G-Starlink Pte. is seeking a detail-oriented Calibration Technician to handle incoming items, acclimate them in the lab, and prepare them for calibration.

You will collaborate with the Technical Team to ensure traceability, standard adequacy, and accurate test procedures, while maintaining meticulous records for certificates and logbooks. The role requires independent work, strong written and verbal communication, and proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Descrizione del lavoro

• Collect items for calibration from the incoming area and transfer them in the laboratory to prepare for calibration. Ensure that the items are acclimatized before calibration.
• Interact directly with Technical Team to determine needs relating to traceability, adequacy of standards and test procedures utilized by Bestlabs, as well as, for items requiring repair or limited calibration.
• Verify details of the sales order and inform Technical department for any discrepancy. Check for customers requirements before starting.
• Responsible in making sure that the calibration procedures and requirements (including environmental condition, scope & skill) are fulfilled, and communicated with the customer whenever necessary.
• Ensure that all jobs are completed on a timely and safe manner.
• Ensure that customers instruments are handled carefully, before, during and after calibration.
• Ensure that raw data are recorded in the worksheet for reference and all certificate numbers are unique based on the logbook.
• Generate certificates based on the worksheet, inspect, and ensure that procedures, reference standards and information are correct based on the standards or customer requirements. Affix signature in the report and submit for approval.
• Maintain complete records of the worksheets, and other customer data, drawings & certificate soft copies.
• Ability to work independently.
