Job description

• Perform accurate and timely laboratory testing and analysis across various settings, including site labs and field locations
• Support daily lab operations and step in to coordinate section activities when the team leader is away
• Ensure all test procedures follow established lab standards and document findings clearly and precisely
• Prepare and standardize chemical reagents and test solutions for consistent and reliable results
• Reassess test outcomes when irregular or unexpected results arise, maintaining high accuracy and quality standards
• Represent the lab during third-party assessments and at external refinery labs when needed
• Keep laboratory spaces clean, organized, and compliant with safety protocols, including equipment and materials
• Help guide and train new team members in hands-on lab procedures when assigned
• Open to performing shift work and overtime as part of operational needs
• Carry out any additional tasks assigned by the supervisor while upholding strict ethical and professional standard

Requirements:

• Good knowledge of laboratory processes and safe handling of chemicals.
• Good knowledge and experience in handling Gas Chromatography and other scientific testing instruments.
• High attention to details, meticulous with good time management.
