Job summary

Jobline Resources Pte Ltd is seeking a Senior Cloud Architect to drive enterprise cloud migration programs from strategy through delivery in Singapore. You will design landing zones, hybrid architectures, and governance while leading cross-functional teams and coordinating with executives to ensure successful transitions.

The role requires deep expertise in Azure/AWS, IaC, and automation, with a track record of managing 500+ server migrations in regulated environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT, CS or related discipline.
• 10+ years infrastructure architecture experience, incl. 5+ years cloud architecture.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams and engaging executives in regulated environments.
• Strong expertise in Azure and AWS cloud platforms, enterprise infrastructure, networking, cloud migration, automation, and IaC.
• Experience with cloud readiness assessments, landing zone design, governance, security, IAM, DR, cost optimization, hybrid cloud, migration planning, and automation (PowerShell, Python, Terraform, Bicep, ARM, Ansible).
• Professional Certifications: Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect Expert, AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional, TOGAF, ITIL 4 Foundation.

Responsibilities

1. Migration Strategy

• Assess current on-premises environments and application portfolios.
• Develop cloud adoption and migration strategies.
• Perform application discovery and dependency mapping.
• Define migration waves and migration roadmaps.
• Recommend appropriate migration approaches (Rehost, Replatform, Refactor, Repurchase, Retire, Retain).

2. Architecture Design

• Design landing zones and cloud foundations.
• Develop hybrid cloud architectures.
• Design networking, security, identity, backup, DR and governance.
• Produce High-Level Design (HLD) and Low-Level Design (LLD).
• Establish architecture standards and reusable reference architectures.

3. Migration Delivery

• Lead migration planning and execution.
• Review migration runbooks.
• Coordinate migration windows.
• Oversee cutover and rollback planning.
• Resolve technical issues during migration.

4. Technical Leadership

• Lead technical workshops with customers.
• Mentor engineers and technical leads.
• Conduct architecture reviews.
• Ensure compliance with enterprise standards.
• Support complex troubleshooting.

5. Governance & Risk

• Identify migration risks.
• Define mitigation strategies.
• Review technical quality.
• Ensure security and compliance requirements are met.
• Participate in Change Advisory Board (CAB).

6. Customer Engagement

• Present migration strategies to executives.
• Conduct discovery workshops.
• Provide technical assurance.
• Support pre-sales and solution development.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline (or equivalent practical experience).
• 10+ years of infrastructure architecture experience, including at least 5 years in cloud architecture, with a proven track record of leading enterprise-scale cloud migration programmes and managing large-scale migrations involving 500+ servers.
• Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional teams, engaging executive stakeholders, and delivering projects within regulated environments is preferred.
• Strong expertise in Azure and AWS cloud platforms, enterprise infrastructure, networking, cloud migration, automation, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Proven capability in cloud readiness assessments, landing zone design, cloud governance, security architecture, identity and access management, disaster recovery, cost optimisation, hybrid cloud architecture, migration planning, and automation using technologies such as PowerShell, Python, Terraform, Bicep, ARM Templates, and Ansible.
• Professional Certifications: Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect Expert, AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional, TOGAF, and ITIL 4 Foundation.
