Job summary

Infinite Computer Solutions is seeking an experienced L2 Network Engineer to support the operations, maintenance, and continuous improvement of a large-scale enterprise network environment in Singapore.

This role is ideal for network professionals with strong troubleshooting skills, solid routing and switching expertise, and experience supporting business-critical infrastructure within enterprise or managed services environments.

Qualifications

Hands-on experience supporting enterprise network environments.
Strong understanding of routing and switching technologies.
Solid TCP/IP networking knowledge.
Experience with VLAN configuration and troubleshooting.
Knowledge of enterprise wireless networking technologies.
Experience using network monitoring and management tools.
Proven ability to troubleshoot network outages and performance issues.
Familiarity with Cisco, Aruba, Juniper platforms.
Understanding of network availability, redundancy, and best practices.
Working knowledge of ITIL-based support and service management processes.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and stakeholder-management abilities.

Responsibilities

Monitor and maintain enterprise network infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and availability.
Troubleshoot and resolve network incidents, service requests, and connectivity issues.
Support LAN, WAN, wireless, routing, and switching environments.
Perform network configuration changes, upgrades, and implementation activities.
Collaborate with L1 support teams, L3 engineers, vendors, and client stakeholders.
Participate in incident management, escalation handling, and problem resolution processes.
Conduct root cause analysis and recommend preventive measures.
Monitor network health and identify potential risks or performance issues.
Ensure compliance with operational procedures, security policies, and service standards.
Maintain accurate technical documentation, network diagrams, and operational procedures.
Support knowledge management and continuous service improvement.
Assist in network maintenance activities and scheduled infrastructure upgrades.
