Job summary

Infinite Computer Solutions is seeking an experienced L2 Network Engineer to support the operations, maintenance, and continuous improvement of a large-scale enterprise network environment in Singapore.

This role is ideal for network professionals with strong troubleshooting skills, solid routing and switching expertise, and experience supporting business-critical infrastructure within enterprise or managed services environments.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience supporting enterprise network environments.
• Strong understanding of routing and switching technologies.
• Solid TCP/IP networking knowledge.
• Experience with VLAN configuration and troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of enterprise wireless networking technologies.
• Experience using network monitoring and management tools.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot network outages and performance issues.
• Familiarity with Cisco, Aruba, Juniper platforms.
• Understanding of network availability, redundancy, and best practices.
• Working knowledge of ITIL-based support and service management processes.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder-management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain enterprise network infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and availability.
• Troubleshoot and resolve network incidents, service requests, and connectivity issues.
• Support LAN, WAN, wireless, routing, and switching environments.
• Perform network configuration changes, upgrades, and implementation activities.
• Collaborate with L1 support teams, L3 engineers, vendors, and client stakeholders.
• Participate in incident management, escalation handling, and problem resolution processes.
• Conduct root cause analysis and recommend preventive measures.
• Monitor network health and identify potential risks or performance issues.
• Ensure compliance with operational procedures, security policies, and service standards.
• Maintain accurate technical documentation, network diagrams, and operational procedures.
• Support knowledge management and continuous service improvement.
• Assist in network maintenance activities and scheduled infrastructure upgrades.
