Job summary

Viv's Schoolhouse in Singapore is seeking an L2 English Preschool Teacher to design and deliver age-appropriate learning experiences that support children's holistic development in a nurturing, collaborative environment. • ECDA L2 English Language certification or equivalent recognised by ECDA.
• Diploma in Early Childhood Care and Education - Teaching, or equivalent recognised qualification.
• Fulfil ECDA requirements for an L2 English preschool educator.
• Proficient command of spoken and written English.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate learning experiences aligned with the centre's curriculum to promote children's cognitive, language, social-emotional, and physical development.
• Observe, document, and assess children's learning progress to inform teaching strategies and support individual growth.
• Create and maintain a safe, nurturing, and positive classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning.
• Build and sustain positive relationships with children and families through professional communication about children's development.
• Collaborate effectively with fellow educators to contribute to a supportive and cohesive teaching team.
• Participate actively in school events, celebrations, excursions, and enrichment programmes to enhance children's learning experiences.
• Maintain accurate classroom documentation and records in compliance with centre policies.
• Engage in ongoing professional development to continuously improve teaching practices and educational outcomes.
