The ideal candidate will have a diploma in engineering or computer science, 1-3 years of relevant experience, and knowledge of networking technologies like VLAN and BGP. Certifications such as CCNA are a plus.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience in supporting banking IT environment or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Apply network changes according to Change Request documents.
• Perform offboarding/onboarding of network equipment.
• Hardware replacement, power cycle, cabling and troubleshooting within the data centers.

Skills

Basic working knowledge with Cisco

Basic working knowledge with Huawei

Basic working knowledge with Arista products

Understanding of routers and switches technology

Python scripting

Linux shell scripting

Education

Diploma in engineering or computer science

Certifications such as CCNA

Job Duties & responsibilities

• Apply network changes according to Change Request documents.

• Perform offboarding/onboarding of network equipment

• Hardware replacement, power cycle, cabling and troubleshooting within the data centers.

• The person should have experience with the following skills and competencies:

• Basic working knowledge with Cisco, Huawei and Arista products

• Good understanding of routers and switches technology such as VLAN, HSRP, OSPF, BGP, PBR and EVPN

• Python and linux shell scripting is an advantage

Education / Preferred Qualifications

• Diploma in engineering or computer science

• 1-3 years of experience in supporting banking IT environment or equivalent

• Certifications such as CCNA or equivalent level in networking is an advantage
