Job description

Job Duties & responsibilities

• Apply network changes according to Change Request documents.
• Perform offboarding/onboarding of network equipment
• Hardware replacement, power cycle, cabling and troubleshooting within the data centers.
• Able to work at night week, inclusive of weekends and public holidays. This is not a night shift job as it is dependent on the Change Request or incident support require from the team.

The person should have experience with the following skills and competencies:

• Basic working knowledge with Cisco, Huawei and Arista products
• Good understanding of routers and switches technology such as VLAN, HSRP, OSPF, BGP, PBR and EVPN
• Python and linux shell scripting is an advantage

Education / Preferred Qualifications

• Diploma in engineering or computer science
• 1-3 years of experience in supporting banking IT environment or equivalent
• Certifications such as CCNA or equivalent level in networking is an advantage
