Job description

L1 IT Maintenance Engineer

Job Description

  1. Round the clock monitoring and maintenance of the System (hardware and software) to ensure system uptime in accordance to SLA commitments.
  2. Respond to all incident/service calls and be the first responder on site to troubleshoot and resolve incidents including basic repairs or parts replacements.
  3. Create/update and track ticket in ticketing tool to closure observing SLA commitments.
  4. Escalate when necessary in accordance to escalation matrix.
  5. Perform regular preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting system hardware and all computer-based systems.
  6. Coordinate and work with third-party suppliers or other contractors to identify the causes of issues e.g. hardware, software, network problems, etc. that may affect the proper functioning of the System.
  7. Liaise and work closely with customers to address service concerns and to solve technical problems.
  8. Work with technical team to resolve more advanced issues when necessary.
  9. Perform Install/Move/Add/Change (IMAC) activities as tasked.
  10. Ensure all material is properly documented and handed over during shift changes.
  11. Perform any ad-hoc duties as assigned.
  12. Build sustainable relationships and engage customers by taking the extra mile.

Job Requirements

  1. Diploma, Higher NITEC in Electrical, Electronics, IT or equivalent.
  2. Singapore Citizen preferred.
  3. Relevant experience in IT system support and hardware maintenance.
  4. Experience in electrical/mechanical drawing, service/repair manuals and/or diagrams will be an added advantage.
  5. Basic knowledge in Networking and Database management will be an added advantage.
  6. Airport operations background will be an added advantage.
  7. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Self-starter, self-motivated and critical thinker who embraces challenges.
  8. Ability to work responsibly, independently and in a team.
  9. Able to interact with all levels of people and work under stress.
  10. Training will be provided.
  11. Need to perform SHIFT WORK.

Additional

  • Rotating 12hrs SHIFT or as assigned.
