Job summary

Maybank Securities in Singapore seeks an AVP – KYC Operations Team Lead to drive onboarding and due diligence for Prime Brokerage clients, including complex fund structures. You will oversee KYC reviews, risk assessments, and escalation on AML matters, coordinating with Front Office, Compliance, Legal, Tax and Operations to ensure timely account activation.

You will lead a team, monitor onboarding pipelines and QA outcomes, and contribute to process improvements while upholding regulatory

Qualifications

• Over 5 years of relevant experience in KYC/CDD or client onboarding.
• Strong understanding of fund structures and regulatory requirements.
• Experience conducting KYC reviews and risk assessments.
• Attention to detail and analytical mindset.
• Excellent communication with internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end onboarding of complex fund structures for Prime Brokerage clients.
• Review fund documents and perform KYC/CDD on structures.
• Prepare Source of Wealth assessments and corroborate wealth information.
• Escalate AML issues and coordinate across Front Office, Compliance, Legal, Tax and Operations.
• Ensure timely account activation and adherence to SLAs.
• Monitor team performance and provide QA feedback.
