Job summary

Wipro in Singapore is seeking an experienced Kubernetes operations engineer to triage and resolve cluster requests across AWS, AliCloud, and GCP. You will own tickets from intake to resolution in a Slack-based channel, escalating to platform engineering only for defects or capacity changes.

The role anchors in Singapore to cover the APAC cluster estate, requiring hands-on experience with EKS, GKE, or ACK, strong IAM, networking, and scripting skills.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Kubernetes operations or cloud infra support.
• Production experience with managed Kubernetes on at least two providers (EKS, GKE, or ACK).
• Strong IAM, RBAC, workload identity, service accounts, and policy troubleshooting.
• Excellent written English and Singapore work eligibility.
• Ticket ownership in Slack-based support channel and clear written outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Triage and resolve Kubernetes cluster requests from intake to resolution.
• Escalate to platform engineering for confirmed defects or capacity changes.
• Own tickets in a shared Slack channel and close with a written outcome.
• Maintain runbooks and automation to reduce repeat escalations.
• Support APAC cluster estate from Singapore anchor site.
