Brighton College (Singapore) is seeking an inspirational Key Stage 2 Teacher for a maternity cover from January 2027 to May 2027. The role combines strategic leadership with outstanding classroom teaching and a focus on curriculum continuity across upper KS2.

You will lead a team, uphold high standards of teaching, and build strong relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues, contributing to whole-school improvement and pupil development.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree with PGCE or equivalent.
• Five years of teaching experience and evidence as a subject leader.
• Knowledge of British National Curriculum for relevant Key Stages.

Mansioni

• Lead and manage day-to-day activities of Upper Key Stage five and six under Senior Deputy Head oversight.
• Provide strategic and instructional leadership aligning with the Academic Leadership Team.
• Ensure curriculum continuity, high standards of teaching and learning, and effective assessment across the key stage.
• Model exemplary classroom practice and foster an inclusive learning environment.
• Collaborate with Marketing and Admissions during pupil recruitment and engage in events as required.
• Maintain curriculum standards and ensure ongoing assessment and record-keeping by Form Teachers and Teaching Assistants.
• Develop strong relationships with current and prospective parents and liaise with School Nurse and Cognita partners as needed.

Formazione
