Job summary

A respected manpower agency in Singapore is seeking an assistant for practical sessions in NFS. The candidate will prepare and distribute utensils, maintain kitchen cleanliness, assist teachers with equipment, and more. A minimum of 2 years of experience in a related field and WSQ Food Safety & Hygiene Certificate are required. This is a 24-month contract. Applicants must be able to work both independently and in teams.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and distribute utensils and ingredients for practical sessions.
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of NFS rooms and equipment.
• Assist teachers with equipment checks and post-session cleanup.
• Secure NFS rooms when not in use and report maintenance issues.
• Support stocktaking and perform ad hoc duties as assigned.

Job description

Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of NFS rooms, utensils, and equipment; check and clear fridges regularly.

Assist teachers with equipment checks and post-session cleanup.

Secure NFS rooms when not in use and report maintenance issues.

Support stocktaking and perform ad hoc duties as assigned.

Requirements:

Knowledge of kitchen appliances and safety practices.

WSQ Food Safety & Hygiene Certificate.

Able to work independently and in a team.

Duration/Working hours:

24 months contract (1 Jan 2026 to 31 Dec 2027)

• Mondays to Thursdays: 7:00am to 4:30pm, inclusive of 45 min lunch break
• Fridays: 7:00am to 4:00pm, inclusive of 45min lunch break
• Exam period: May be required to stay till 6pm, inclusive of 45 min lunch break. The additional hours worked may be offset by leaving early on other days.
• Service not required on Saturdays, Sundays and gazetted public holidays
