Job summary

A dim sum production company in Singapore is seeking individuals to assist in preparing dim sum items and support the chef. Successful candidates will have prior experience in a fast-paced kitchen and knowledge of food safety protocols. This role offers a six-day work week with competitive working hours.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in dim sum production roles is preferred.
• Basic knowledge of traditional dim sum items and cooking techniques is an advantage.
• Ability to follow recipes, portion guidelines, and food safety protocols.
• Physical stamina to stand for long periods.
• Team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of dim sum items.
• Handle production machinery and handmade dim sum.
• Support the dim sum chef in ingredient preparation.
• Maintain hygiene and cleanliness in the work area.
• Label and store ingredients and finished products.

Skills

Prior experience in dim sum production

Knowledge of traditional dim sum items

Follow recipes and food safety protocols

Job description

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of dim sum items
• Handle production machinery and handmade dim sum
• Support the dim sum chef in ingredient preparation, mixing, shaping, steaming, and packaging
• Maintain proper hygiene, cleanliness, and organization in the work area according to food safety standards
• Label and store ingredients and finished products appropriately
• Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the Company
