You will also actively engage children and their families, and work closely with social/community partners and government agencies. At Singapore Children's Society, you will be involved in influencing change at the policy and organisational level from the development of programmes for parents and cross-centre work/learnings.

Responsibilities

As a Lead KidSTART Practitioner, you will be expected to:

  • Lead and supervise a team of KSPs to build competencies, ensure programme fidelity and quality of implementation, and refine and improve work processes for effective and efficient programme delivery.
  • Motivate a team of KSPs from diverse backgrounds to deliver the KidSTART curriculum and achieve satisfactory outcomes for families and their children.
  • Establish and maintain high standards of service delivery.
  • Identify training needs, conduct, and coordinate regular individual and group reflective supervision sessions, training, and consultation for KSPs to enhance effectiveness of service delivery and outcomes.
  • Engage and network with key external and internal stakeholders and partners at the operational level to tap on resources and expertise, plug service gaps, and advocate for additional resources and support for families, based on empirical evidence and data.
  • Ensure programme output and outcome indicators are met through regular audits of the quality and fidelity of home visitations through the evaluation and fidelity monitoring framework.
  • Monitor service delivery by ensuring the team’s consistency in keeping up to date with administrative processes, provision of data, and case recording in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with key internal and external stakeholders to develop processes to ensure seamless support is provided to families.
  • Maintain a limited caseload of cases to keep skills in assessment, rapport building, engagement, and intervention with parents/caregivers and gain insights on ways to address challenges faced by supervisees.
  • Contribute to the organisational mission of bringing relief and happiness to children through involvement in cross-centre work opportunities, fund-raising events, and/or undertake any other responsibilities or duties assigned by the Head of Centre. If you are eager to learn, creative, and innovative, this is your chance to make a difference in our community.
